Just like a poisonous flower, it's beautiful and sweet but could kill you in the next second." This is the 3rd portrait in the series of poisonous flowers, and it might be my favorite one so far. My thought behind this portrait series was to show a metaphor for love, how it weights between being the most wonderful thing in the world and of being the most painful thing. The line is fine, and sometimes it can feel like you love someone so much, that the love itself could poison you, maybe even to death. It started out as one idea for a portrait together with the poem you see above, but before I had even finished it, I thought it would be nice to make more portraits with the same concept. And this is very unlike me, since I have never been able to do more than two works in a series before. But this concept seems to have occupied my mind completely. I've also done two drawings with ink and pencils 'Moonseed' & 'Aminita virosa' that follows the same theme with poisonous plants. My wish is to one day show them all together (and more) as one whole exhibition. Ink & watercolor painting. Here you are another The Witcher fanart!!! I was inspired from the book ... Nope, i do not say the title of the saga, lol, but it was just an inspiration, so it supposed is not too much spoiler... XD I take advantage for experimenting with a lot of thing, from fight scene, to monsters to dark night colors. I admit, except for those details, i really like this work (nope, is not due to my Fangirl Mode, i promise, lol). And..... *rumble* Finally i have a new A3 scanner!!!! So no more "photoshop madness puzzle"due to A4 scanner. I admit i like the colors, veeeery similar to original artworks. I try also to print a glossy, and result is so lovely! *happiness* Soooo, hope you like it, and...
