I'd say left. The colours on the right feel too muddy to be flattering to the character.

I really like the one on the left -- has a better contrast and it's smoother. I personally don't like the feeling as if it was made right out of a 3D program with all the pixelation and doll-looking. the left one avoids that nicely.
