Languages I speak (or try to speak or at least learnt at some point) would be German, English, Dutch, Spanish, Russian and Japanese. I am also fascinated with Icelandic even though I'm rather bad at it. My user name here is actually the Icelandic word for "lunar eclipse".
I've heard there are about 150 different Philippine languages spoken. That's quite a lot!
oh man I only know like three languages and I'm not even that fluent with one of it lol, I'm trying to learn my fathers language though, Norsk but I find it a little difficult. I'm half Pilipino if you're wondering, yep in the Philippines theres a lot of languages more than 150 actually but only a few are actually considered a standard dialect, I would say around 10 or more are official, most are variations of those official languages or are not that used widely anymore, in the place where I was born they speak Bisaya one of the dialects in the provincial area but where I am now which is a city up north most speak in Kapampangan another dialect, I don't speak much of either dialects cause it's all too confusing, so I just speak either in English or in Filipino. for a small country my country sure has a lot of languages it's kind of a miracle we all get along somehow... lol
