I've been vegan for just over a year now and I love it. I feel much more energized and it's made me really understand exactly what I'm putting into my body (gotta read a lot of ingredient labels, haha).
For the most part, everything you eat in a vegan diet is 100% natural and healthy (assuming you stay away from synthetic foods and sugars). It's a lot easier to make the switch than you think. I was vegetarian for 4 years before I went vegan and I made the switch in a little over a week.
I have tons of recipes and advice for anyone looking for delicious vegan food or just tips on making sure you get solid amounts of protein, etc.
Essentially I avoid eating too much carbs for me. As explained in most modern diet, it can be very harmful to you.
I try to take things that my body need in term of nutrients, avoid carbs, and eat food that helps with your blood sugar like those with low glycemic index and vinegar. Of course, food that has high level of omega-3 fat to keep a good fat ratio and a LOT of anti-oxidants.
