Jun 27th, 2011I'm a self taught illustrator from the Philippines. My artworks usually focus on women with very long hair surrounded by flowers and vines. Other artworks depend on what I feel or what I have experienced. I do traditional and digital illustrations. I usually listen to music while I draw something because for me it helps a lot when I'm making details to my drawings. My dream is to become a childrens book illustrator. I see myself in a continuous development which will hopefully lead me to more experience. Many images are born out of playing with symbols, colours, lines, and structures. Most pictures come about subconsciously as I paint without specific prior planning. I rarely know beforehand what would evolve as I give myself to the creative process without any goal orientation. The results often amaze and surprise me.

Deep thinking, music, quiet time, taking nature photography, writing (have written a book), singing, animals, the wonders of untouched nature. I reside in New England and was born in 1966. I have arts and photography on other sites such as DeviantART and RedBubble, but would primarily just be here to enjoy the wonderful art. My works may not be up to Shadowness standards but I can learn technique and be inspired here.
