This is an acrylic painting on masonite board, measuring 40 x 60 cm. It depicts a mythical creature called a Huldra, native to Norway and Sweden.
She is known as The Lady of the Forest, and is known to both tempt men and drain all their energy, and to bless those who are respectful of her (never mention her tail!)

This is part of my "Fragile Things" collection - which will be on show in September 2012 in Malmö, Sweden.
