i always thought rapunzel should cut her hair, finally someone did it. i like the sadness in her eyes. how did she cut her hair? a knife or scissors? i would have put a pair of scissors on the floor or a knife, just to tell the story better. i love the colors and the textures you used too. the emoton in this peice is fantastic that i feel sorry for her.

thanks armilar. the background is and it isnt a photo. i started with a gradient and i texured it and then i used a brush that i have of trees and plants., and the tree is a photographic brush but the rest of it is various custom brushes used to make the night sky. thanks for your critique, i can always count on you for an honest and good crit. :)

i think this is great, if you would add a cast shadow to the metal ship wall, that would place here in the scene better. I would also tint the background green since there is green in your hair. tells me you must have been outside next to a tree or by a green wall.
