We were as perfect counterparts in an unbreakable love and we knew that giving ourselves to each other was our only purpose and we would never need any other. In completion, there was no 'us' there was only god, and we were. Our love multiplied infinitely, down through unimaginable wells of existence breaking through layers of consciousness that you and I cannot even imagine, only to crack through and bottom out, world after world! and deeper and deeper into our perfect love, it would never stop. And we knew it would never stop, and could never be threatened. We would always be in love, and nothing would ever stop us. Our hearts are an infinite horizon, we cannot even bear it. But.. But we fell asleep. And like an atom.. we split, into humanity, and a universe appeared; The 'Big Bang'! A senseless attempt to entertain the idea that there was something of value out there, in the ocean of bodies and objects, other than love. devotion had become nothing more then a distant, ridiculous, incoherent dream. while the malevolent reason of promiscuity, fell into obscurity. And all the lonely souls were trampled, like dirt, in the struggle for power. "There is a solitude of space, A solitude of sea, A solitude of death, but these Society shall be, Compared with that profounder site, That polar privacy, A Soul admitted to Itself: Finite Infinity"; 'Singularity'! Stop looking, there is nothing out there. There never was, and there never will be. through the darkness of your soul, Dig! it's the hardest thing you'll ever do. All the images are so visceral and decieving threatening. distracting. graphic. corrupt. like everything everyone ever said, you know that's not the truth. Dig deeper.. what do you know inside is true..? could you believe in yourself, alone, for just one planck moment? and are you afraid of what you'll find? Why? We, alone, we desired love or death. So we abandoned the external world for the burden of the truth. rediscovered the real world at the bottom of our souls, and now we've seen it, reflected, in everything, and at long last, we know.. Your devotion, poor soul, can never be forgotten. Everything in this world is a lie. Love will be remembered again. "Through the remainder of my earthly existence... into my eventual, spiritual, eternal escape... where my spirit will neither remember, let alone bare the scars of this tattered, to-be-deceased, corporeal imprisonment" -Steven Mon, 08 Sep 2014 18:40:08 -0400 Elphaba - Willemijn Verkaik by IlseVerbeek
Made this drawing of Elphaba the wicked witch of the west from Wicked.
