I totally agree with you. It is hard to capture the beauty and intensity of traditional work with a camera. I do not have a scanner, yet. Do you have any suggestions? And THANK YOU (!!!!!!) for the link....what an amazing artist! Very inspirational...I bought his book and a journal with one of his collages on the cover just now...so thank you for that. Yay! My husband (Hell-on-a-stick) has one of his Journals and the kid have his Vanities book. I would also recommend 'Walter the Farting Dog' for some really cool collage art.
For a scanner, we use an Epson Perfect 4490 Photo. It has the ICE image thing, Hell knows more about that...he scans negatives. I just scan art which is fairly easy with the preloaded settings in the software.
