DEAD FLOWERS

Dead flowers in a jar, I think of you. Dead air on the radio, I think of you. Dead insects in the windowsill I think of you..My gate has rusted to the perfect orange. When it rains, that slow horrible drizzle, I see your eye, mimicking mustard gas, flashing scenes of hate and immortals...The flowers are still dead in the jar..You are out of film...And I continue to oxidize...
