The scaled Earth is included to give an idea of the size, it's not to scale in terms of distance from the sun. We would be well and truly cooked if we were that close.

Outstanding shot, the sun almost looks like it's made up of seas of swimming orange gold fluid. The comparison of the earth too is a helpful touch.
