She was born on March 10th, 1980, in Saragossa, Spain. She showed great interest in drawing as a child, an interest that led her to join the Saragossa School of Arts years later. While she was carrying out her Senior Illustrator degree, she collaborated in several fanzines and ecologist magazines, as well as some collective exhibitions. She got work experience at famous illustrator Luis Royo's study, whose work she greatly admires. To round up her studies she traveled to the city of Barcelona, where she studied Illustration and Airbrushing at the Joso School. Heavily influenced by the fantasy literature of authors like J. R. R. Tolkien or Tad Williams, and movies like "Dark Crystal" or "Labyrinth", her work is chock-full of fairies, pixies, dragons and deep forests that fill her every illustration with lush detail. Her favourite techniques are graphite and watercolors, but the vast majority of her works are made with acrylic paint and gouache. Her works have been published both in Spain and in the United States. She has worked for role-playing games, CCGs, magazines and book covers. She has also self-published some of her works as posters and postcard collections. In 2008 she started working with Norma Editorial on an art book which will be published in the upcoming months.

Daydreaming, gigs, travel, randomness, hats, new places, new faces, dressing up, dressing down, sleep, long walks, new bands, planes, holding hands, magazines, the smell of fresh coffee, hard rain against a window, huge earrings, unplanned nights, Anna Sui perfume, Colorado, long summer nights, G&T, thunder storms, my ipod, unexpected hugs, aquariums, yellow roses, being brunette, sundays, photographs, dancing, festivals, big sunglasses, seeing someone after a long time, animation, memories, fresh cool bed sheets, letters, laughing til my sides ache. I am a 25 year old multi-media designer living in Aberdeen, Scotland. What inspires me is the side of an individual that others may not see. My work portrays stark contrasts to the original exterior and personality of my subjects. My ideas are sparked from the bone structure, eyes and body language of the individual. I have a BA (Hons) degree in Visual Communication, In 2005 I was nominated for the Scottish Outstanding design student of the year and in 2006 I won a BP design award for animation.

One of the most common misunderstandings of evolution is that one species can be "more highly evolved" than another, that evolution is necessarily progressive and/or leads to greater "complexity", or that its converse is "devolution". Evolution provides no assurance that later generations are more intelligent or complex than earlier generations. The claim that evolution results in progress is not part of modern evolutionary theory; it derives from earlier belief systems which were held around the time Darwin devised his theory of evolution. In many cases evolution does involve "progression" towards more complexity, since the earliest lifeforms were extremely simple compared to many of the species existing today, and there was nowhere to go but up. However, there is no guarantee that any particular organism existing today will become more intelligent, more complex, bigger, or stronger in the future. In fact, natural selection will only favor this kind of "progression" if it increases chance of survival, i.e. the ability to live long enough to raise offspring to sexual maturity. The same mechanism can actually favor lower intelligence, lower complexity, and so on if those traits become a selective advantage in the organism's environment. One way of understanding the apparent "progression" of lifeforms over time is to remember that the earliest life began as maximally simple forms. Evolution caused life to become more complex, since becoming simpler wasn't advantageous. Once individual lineages have attained sufficient complexity, however, simplifications (specialization) are as likely as increased complexity. This can be seen in many parasite species, for example, which have evolved simpler forms from more complex ancestors.

He is living in Munich for over 19 years now. He found his passion for art really early since childhood and began his first artistic moves with a pencil, later on with coal. With the age of 12 he bought his first computer and discovered the mighty Internet, it fascinated him so much, that his goal was to build his own website. Web design was his main interest in the design field, until he created his own company named “wildskills designs” www.wildskills.de where he is currently freelancing. Developing designs with a range from digital to print, started with Digital Art/Graphic Design since 2007 and is continuously seeking for new adventures and tasks. His philosophy is to create unique individual designs with innovative elements, that tells a story with a message, which stands out from other designs and requires the viewer to think. Design is his mojo, a big hobby, that became profession... He just can´t live without it!

I am an aspiring writer and sequential artist hoping to one day publish my own graphic novels. Heavily inspired by the conflict between light and darkness, much of my work deals with the supernatural, i.e. angels, demons, and the like. Rock music is what I love listening to when creating. It gets the blood pumping and the juices flowing.

A little about me eh? Well I remain one of the most senior artists on Shadowness having been with the site pretty much since its birth, from starting out small to growing bigger everyday. I have met loads of fantastic people on here and continue to do so on a daily basis, if you wish to become a friend just add me its that simple :) I hail from the UK where its very wet at the moment but that doesn't change much, I'm 23 studying for a degree in Web Design and Multimedia, once this is done ill be moving onto a degree in Games Design. At the moment my duties on Shadowness is one of a staff member where I work with a brilliant team on ideas and pieces of work for the community to make it more great for everyone, as well as this I run a few groups the more popular ones are /photomaniacs for the photographers of shadowness /irc which is the official irc group about the irc channel for shadowness and my new one which is /promote which has been created to produce promotional material for members to use on other sites to help Promote/Advertise Shadowness.com as a whole. If you should have any questions for me or about Shadowness in general please do ask them and ill be happy to answer them for you.

One day, when I was about 5, I discovered that just by staying quiet and watching closely you can learn many things about other people. It's almost as if you could penetrate their minds and see them for who they really are. I noticed I ended up creating some sort of internal representation of them inside my head. More than 20 years later I have taken in too many souls and now I can feel them all in my head at once. I try to get them out with each sketch. That's my background; I do this because I don't have a choice.
