I am trying memory doodles again. This time, I looked for 10 minutes at "Kauterskill Clove" by Sanford R. Gifford, and painted what I could from memory in an hour.. Here is the result. I find this challenges my color memory, my analyzation of shapes, and my sense of scale when I work this way...
It's not easy, but it's great to hone the eye and brain to remember particular details!
