For An Instant

A lightning storm began outside my window. I quickly grabbed my camera, threw on my ND filter, and suddenly, BAM!

The lightning bolt hit just over a kilometer away, on one of the poles in the stadium by the lake. So close! And so powerful!

Unfortunately, the bolts that followed this one were too far away to capture, though I waited for an hour.

Did I mention the electricity went out? Cause I don't wait for an hour just for nothing.
...OK, so maybe I do.
