[I apollogize for all non-hispanic people, but I need to express this in spanish] ¿Qué es una imagen? ¿Es acaso solamente un pequeño y breve fragmento de tiempo congelado para mantenerlo en nuestra retina aún después de que ha dejado de existir? Más allá de lo que puedan ser las imágenes, es preciso recordar la realidad; aquellas cosas que dan sentido y permiten que nuestro trabajo -las imágenes- puedan existir. �Do you want to know a secret? I saw him� He walked alone, wandering in lonely worlds, travelling around eternal landscapes which blurred under his feet. He wanted to know the aroma of the unreal, and in his trip full of dreams, he collected the fantasy trapped in the stars, the sighs that the wind kept giving him every morning and night, he received the visit of the creatures who live in dreams, and from them he learnt the essence of the delicate touch of passion. He captured in his notebook those dreams which didn�t come true, the mind�s dark betrayals, the aromas from the intense reality which he will never be able to live. Because he doesn�t live the present, neither the past, or the future, he is the shadow which follows the wind, the sound which accompanies the fantasies from the unreal. He looks for beauty in the darkness, for the passion in the inert, every sigh immerses him in a world where creation is life. Sometimes he felt like time slid through his fingers, and in every second the most dark ghosts would overcome him, he woke up from his litany with a creative spirit, and his sensations, his fears, disappeared at creation. Close your eyes, and in each sparkle of your heart, he will reflect your soul�s fears. Currently residing in Porto, Portugal, Oscar is a 21 year old digital artist and graphic designer, who early started to get related to traditional forms of art and expression by influence of his grandfather, a traditional sculpturer. His further attachment to graffiti and street art open new horizons and helped him conceive new concepts and representations. Later, the fascination of posters and graphic design seen on the streets lead him to experiment modern ways of expression, such as digital art and design, and around March 2003, he was creating and experimenting abstract 3d art and conceptual digital art. Today, he is a member of the mega art collective, DepthCORE, for who great part of his digital art is produced for. Oscar is attending ESAD in Porto, studying graphic design and is also working freelance. Oscar gets inspiration by everything he sees on the streets. The urban influence is very present in his work. Apart from design and digital art, he also loves skateboarding, drawing, photography and cinema. Tools of trade: Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4d, Canon 400D

I live in upstate New York where I work as a advertising graphics designer, not the most glamorous work for my type of art but it pays the bills. I also have started my own photography business with my partner called Flash Happy Photography. In my spare time I try to work on personal art but I find that lately that free time is harder to come by. Alas the demands of everyday life...
