Hello everyone!
I'm Ember. I'm very new here and enjoying this community very much.
I'm an artist In the United States, my career is in graphic design but my passion is traditional art. I am flattered to have my artwork featured!
If I were to stop making art the activity I would replace it with is...making art? That is tough to answer, lol! Before I was into the visual arts I was really into music. So I suppose that if I could not do visual art I would pursue music again.
I stumbled upon shadowness several years ago but did not join. Just a few days ago I read an interview of an artist that I admire and saw that he had an account on shadowness. So I decided it was probably time that I checked out the community. The artist is http://shadowness.com/ascendingstorm
It is difficult to say when I first wanted to become an artist. I've been drawing since I was a small child. So ever since I was young I have enjoyed creating traditional art. Then when I was in my 20's I kind of stumbled into a graphic design job.
Hiya, I'm Rachel currently based in Bali. I'm self-taught artist and a freelance graphic designer/photographer.
If you were to stop making art, what activity would you replace it with?
That's tricky since my whole life revolves around making art. But If not that chances are I'd have started a band and pursue music :D
How did you find Shadowness?
I saw someone on my facebook link to this site!
When did you first want to become an artist?
Well I've been sketching since I can first remember. Digital art came to me very early in life, when my sister installed photoshop to the computer when I was around 13. Never stopped experimenting since!

Hello Everyone! I'm Kurt Morris Rojas currently based in Philippines, I am on my self study on expanding my knowledge in Vector/Vexel, Photo Manipulation and Digital Painting.
I started my interest in Graphic Designing in the year 2009, at first I was just using basic knowledge in Photo editing such as adding text and simple effects.
Until I found sites for Graphic Artists that inspired me to experiment and do some extreme artworks. Shadowness is now my new home for my Artworks.

At the age of 3 I use to draw in the walls of our house. And when I achieve the age of 7, everyone around me observed that I have a talent in art especially my Parents and teachers in my elementary. I've been exposed to such art contests during those days until my High school. And now I decided to expand more my skills and talent. Thanks to Shadowness.
1. Probably with even more reading
2. Trought a friends journal on DA
3. I had the artistic spark from small :D allways dodling something and some 5 years ago I got a small camera and started to shoot around developing ideas on the go and had lot of great time but as my knowledge rised so my need for a dslr got bigger so last year i got a nikon d90 and that opened even more opportunities :D but the d90 is not a toy so learning how it functions is essential. Photography looks simple but it isnt :S but still i just love it and i am looking foward to learnig new thechniques :D And yes plaing a bit with PS is fun but i have not the time/energy to make something more complex (althought there are some ideas) so I appriciate manips even more because I can understand how much it takes to make them

Hello from Hungary! I am a photographer, decided to make pictures after looking over million of fine captures since childhood. My road back is long and still I don't know where it will lead at the end. I don't belive in learning art - except the technical part of it - and I guess it is inside you or never will be. It is your job to try to hatch it. I am a moment hunter, dreamcatcher, adding to each shot my inner world, maybe with special light, color or mood. You can find me in each picture I submit.) In the case I would have to stop doing this - well, probably that means I died. I never wanted to became an artist, I don't call and think about myself like that. I am making everything mainly by instinct and that is not professional or scientific whatever. I just have to do it like that. And about Shadowness - I am allways looking for shadows. Now I found one. Maybe I stay, maybe I'll have go away again. You never know.) Thank you and have nice lights!
