When did you realize you wanted to be an artist? During my time at the Grafic School (Broby Grafiska) where we got introduced to the different programmes, photography, text and film.
How did you find Shadowness? My boyfriend showed me! :)

When did you realize you wanted to be an artist?
I was all my life interested in art, so I made an advanced technical college entrance qualification in Design on an art school. This was the first time i get in touch with professional photography and felt in love with it.
How did you find Shadowness? Was invited via twitter/facebook/deviantart ( sry I forgot which network it was^^)

December 2010 is when I re-realised I wanted to do this as a living. I was at a talk by an Irish comic artist who had previously done my college course. Before that, I did not believe or understand how someone from where I lived could ever do these things or 'make it', or get involved to a certain extent. I think I found Shadowness by following the link of a pic I saw featured on another art/design site. I think I'd be the Flash (mostly cos he's staring at me from a magazine right now)

Shadowness had popped out at me on Google images while searching for an artist who is no longer present on DA, and found that they share their work here, got curious, and now I love it! So versatile and custom, tight knitted and friendly. (:
I would love to be a character in my own world. If not my own, than perhaps Archangel from X-men. XD -

I am Dee from U.S.A. I joined Shadowness this week too.
I found Shadowness from a link on my friend Dragonfly113 Facebook Page.
I started drawing when I was eight years old.... but the new age of CGI
really sparked my interest to learn digital art and to be a graphic artist.
I miss traditional art... that's raw talent.... no computer tricks there...
I have a high respect for all the traditional artists out there.
What character would I be... I want to say Wonder Woman.....
but in reality it would have to be Catwoman!

Hello, I am Damien. I was born and raised in New York. I believe I decided to pursue art as a career during middle school. Before, I would just draw for fun. But then I started to take it more seriously. I loved to draw, and I shared the same passion for comic books. While comic art is my main style of art, I try to be as versatile as I can be. I love drawing realistic works, and push myself to be as photorealistic as possible. Although it's not my preferred style of art, I do have experience in digital art as well. I found Shadowness through Meng To himself on Facebook. As for the character I would like to be, I think my profile pic makes that obvious lol. Batman has always been my favorite character, and most of my friends say I share the same personality as Bruce Wayne. Batman is just an awesome character, who perfectly portrays human will, among many other feats.
I have been loving Shadowness and the community here. Feels great to be among other talented artists. -

I'm Amber. Currently living in the Netherlands, but since my parents are English I don't consider myself to be Dutch. I prefer English over Dutch anyway. (:
As for discovering that I wanted to be an artist.. I don't know when I decided I was interested in art. As far as I know I've been drawing since I was 4. Since the fact that I'm not 'amazing' at drawing puts me down, I tend to stick to photography, as I seem to be better at that
But I don't have any ambitions to become 'an artist'.
I found Shadowness through someone on DeviantART and just fell in love with it.
If I could be any character in fiction, I'd probably be Eragon. Just because I love dragons.

Hello, I'm Nikk (BUT I'm a girl!) I like lots of dark arts and appreciate films like Silent Hill, REPO! The Genetic Opera, The Machinist, and whatnot. For music, I like Queen, Akira Yamaoka, A Perfect Circle, Voltaire, Bring Me the Horizon, Sarah Brightman, etc. I currently am attending college, and next year, hope to go to Humbolt University. I do a lot of art mediums, paintings, computer arts, costume design, gore make-up, drawings, ink drawings, blood even.I don't remember when I decided to become an artist because I've been doing art since I could first hold a pencil. As for finding this site, one of the people I'm watching on Deviantart recommended it. If I could be any fictional character, I'd be Alyssa from Silent Hill, because having the power to control that beautiful place would rock my world.

I love almost all kinds of art from traditional to digital. But now I really want to extend my skills in vector art.

- when my mom gave birth to me LOL!!. since I was a child I always love to draw draw draw, I don't remember when. :)
How did you find Shadowness?
- I am searching some vector portraits in the internet and just saw outstanding vector portraits in this site (most are works of hanabacasno <--- my idol).
If you could be any character in fiction, who would you be?

I'm Ariadna (my artistic name is ariArtna ;) and I'm from Barcelona. This is a total surprise to me, I had no idea there was a Meet and Greet for all new users!! (I joined a few days ago :P)
My intention in all my illustrations is that people enjoy them, usually I don't draw anything sad or cruel, I want people to get a good feeling with my works :)
When did you realize you wanted to be an artist?
I think I've never wanted to be anything else haha While some of my friends decided their future thinking "that career will give me more money" I always thought that you have to work in what you love, your passion because that's how you will give the best of yourself.

I'm not really sure haha I think I found it on Facebook :P
If you could be any character in fiction, who would you be?
Hmmm... There are a lot of characters I'd like to be but maybe my favourite one would be "The Bride" from Kill Bill hahaha (don't be afraid of me, if you don't kill my family I won't do anything to you hahaha) because I'm a huge fan of Uma Thurman and that character is funny, selfconfident and beautiful!! a perfect combination!

When did you realize you wanted to be an artist?
I would say when I was a wee lad...my parents saw my love for drawing when I was about 3 years old, so I drew, but it was only in the past few years that I actually decided to call myself an artist.
How did you find Shadowness?
It was recommended by an artist from Deviant Art...So far I love this site, people actually look at your work and comment on it...
If you could be any character in fiction, who would you be?
Probably Frodo...He held the fate of the world in his hands, completed his destiny, and then got to go live with the elves in the undying lands with his uncle Bilbo...I know, it sounds pretty dorky, but LOTR is awesome!
