What keeps you motivated in the world of art?
Seeing other beautiful things that people are able to create...and going outside. There is just so much that could be seen as art! I just want to figure out how to make it all look beautiful and unique ^_^
How did you find Shadowness?
/Dehk forced me in a few years ago =P but I lost touch and as fortunate to get a random email from the site this past April. It re-ignited my love for the site and I fell in love with the community. I haven't been able to leave since and I dont believe I'll ever want to now :D
If you could be anyone you want to be, who would you choose and what would you do?
I would be...me...it's funny. I'm not rich(tho that would be nice) and I cant do everything but because of my parents and the place I live there is so much that I can do if I choose. The possibilities are endless, I'm just working on figure out what I want to do with them :) -

Hi my name is Faheema, but most people call me Famz, I'm a graphic designer by profession and love photography :) I have 6 kitties (yes I love animals), I like to draw, and basically love helping other people.
What keeps you motivated in the world of art?
Nature, and my passion for being able to express myself in any artistic form I choose to. Being on Shadowness :D and being around like minded people who support and encourage me.
How did you find Shadowness?
I knew about Shadowness a couple of years ago, but was so intimidated to join as my art was no where near as good as what I found here back then. But I joined eventually after seeing Shadowness' facebook page and loved it every sense!
If you could be anyone you want to be, who would you choose and what would you do?
Oh my, hmm I don't know who I would want to be, maybe just a better person? Successful, confident and have the power to empower and achieve great things for my family, myself, people around me. I love helping people so I would love to be able to achieve that.

*What keeps you motivated in the world of art?*
Simply, I can't live without. To me it's like feeding myself, or breathing. Everyday is a good day to improve my skills and to learn something new. Or at lest I try to do it.
My best motivation is simply to do better and better.
*How did you find Shadowness?*
I find that website some days ago by a link on Deviant Art, and I liked it. Then, some days later, and precisely this morning, I received an invitation by another artist featured here (Zindy) and I took the occasion to join it.

ahah oh well, probably I would be the happiest/lucky/rich woman in the world...isn't that hard to guess why...

What keeps you motivated in the world of art?
My passion for roleplaying and gaming gives me tons of inspiration and characters I want to draw! I've been drawing since I was two years old and I doubt that I'll ever stop as long as I can hold a pencil. :) Also I'm aspiring to be a concept artist, and I damned well will be!
How did you find Shadowness?
Through /solstickan, whom I met at a friend's birthday party! I was hestitant to join, I wasn't sure that my skill level could match all the fantabulous people here, but it's such a welcoming community. I also got my friend /kallqvist to join, because he's awesome. :>
If you could be anyone you want to be, who would you choose and what would you do?
Wow, that's a hard one. I think I would be my Malkavian vampire from the Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines game, I'd be a really hot, bloodsucking, insane vampire that could go invisible and also make other people insane.
Heeeh. But seriously though, I like being me. :>

--Improvement! I love looking back at my old work and comparing to what I've accomplished more recently.

--I was introduced to SN and invited by my lovely & talented friend Faheema aka Famz on deviantArt.
If you could be anyone you want to be, who would you choose and what would you do?
--Well I'm in love with my own life and feel very blessed as I am, but.... I suppose it wouldn't hurt if I was a taller, less shy, and more confident & focused person that also lived in a prettier city with more resources available to me. I would be more social, I would travel and take pictures of more people in awesome locations with better equipment, I wouldn't be so lazy because I would get things done before they pile up on me, and I'd be able to reach the top shelf of my cupboards. -

My name is Mitzi. I'm a fantasy artist though I've done a lot of other things, too. AruarianDancer (aruarian-dancer) is a name I made an account with at deviantART a few years ago and am still in a habit of signing my works with.
What keeps you motivated in the world of art?
-- Trying to recreate the visions and ideas in my mind in my own visual language. There seems to be a constant flow of ideas that I want to attempt to bring forth. I would like each new piece to be a little better in some way, and not get stuck doing the same thing simply because something is "popular".

If you could be anyone you want to be, who would you choose and what would you do?

Let's introduce myself. My name is Johnny Young. I'm from Jakarta, Indonesia. I'm the Interior Designer as well as the 3D Artist but recently i become a photographer lol
What keeps you motivated in the world of art?
I love art very much, coz i'm a Bachelor of Art :D majoring in Interior Design. Not only Interior Design that i love. almost every kind of arts, i Love it. My motivation in the world of art is I want everyone love art and know what is art. Art is not that easy even it's very simple one. If world full of arts, there's no war anymore and we can live in peace and full of inspirations, creativities and beautiful world :D
How did you find Shadowness?
I knew Shadowness from my close friend, Koyamenz. I saw his Shadowness' link on my Facebook and he got Daily Inspiration Featured. Then i curious to know what is Shadowness. After i surfed to that link. I really love this kind of forum. Then i decided to create an account here. At the first time i got confuse on the workflow. but after 2 days in here, i really enjoy it. On my third days here, i got featured on Shadowness...what a surprised :D You know, what the interesting on Shadowness? i can find something similar feature on Facebook, Twitter and DeviationArt . Combination of 3 social networks :D Great job. Every time i surf the internet, Shadowness always on my screen :D i've promoted Shadowness on my Facebook wall and group.
If you could be anyone you want to be, who would you choose and what would you do?
No, I don't want to be anyone. I enjoyed and loved what i got todays. I can share my arts and creativities to the whole world, not everyone can do this :D but i do. This is make my life different with others.

What keeps you motivated in the world of art?
Really don't know if there is only one thing, or a lot of them. I always love pre-raphaelite painters and my grandmothers were seamstresses, so...i decided to make my job quite more magical and artistical when i study fashion desing, and try to work on cinema or theatre.
How did you find Shadowness?
My friend Vhea share my a link to this website and recomend me to register.
If you could be anyone you want to be, who would you choose and what would you do?
mmmm.....i think i want to be someone rich, it's hard to make costumes if you don't have money to buy better fabrics, or can't rent wonderful places, or horses, or magical things to make better photoshoots. I am always sad and frustrated because i want to make better costumes, better makeups and better videos and photos, but always the money is a great problem.
Spain is a hard place to be an artist, no one help you. -

What keeps you motivated in the world of art?
The question is, if I know it at all... It's not simple to put it into words. I'm an amateur and don't even have proper skills or equipment, I would say so myself. (Because I'm a student, I don't have the money or the time and I'm aware of it.) But that's not the main point and the reason I always end up drawing, painting, taking prohotos, writting or singing is the same - it's just because I want to do it. I love to do it. It helps me to keep at cool, to show and express something much deeper than everyday emotions, something that pressures me and uplifts me at the same time. Maybe something you would call a real you. :D I would say it's kind of a game with my inner self, I just discover depths of my mind, new aspects of my character. And I always liked discovering new things, not to mention that I like influencing other people - under that condition, that they want to be influenced. Because it's part of our real life. Interaction affects me and affects also the others. Without it, our life would be too narrowminded...
So what keeps me motivated? Probably that I can discover myself, change people and that they change me back.
How did you find Shadowness?
It was thanks to one recommendaiton. A complete stranger wrote to me, that I could try this webside, if I want a bigger feedback. And I didn't have a reason to refuse such opportunity.
If you could be anyone you want to be, who would you choose and what would you do?
I would be a writer. Well, more like I will be one! :D (Hope so...) But I would still like to pursue another art activities. I think it's not a bad thing to keep a versatility, it gives me more options and I like that freedom of choice.
If I should choose, I would like to be AS Haruki Murakami (I don't really want to be someone else.). That's because he's one of a few people I really admire. I look up to his unique way of thinking and especially his Kafka on the Shore express somehing unusually close to me. I want to be able to influence people the way he influenced me. And that's my motivation. :D I returned back to the beginning. :) -

- Feeling a need to share my artistic and creative talents with the world and to be able to inspire others. To meet people of alike nature who appreciates art! :)

- Recently I was suggested by a member on deviantart of an art community where I could share my artworks and ever since then I'm happy being here..
If you could be anyone you want to be, who would you choose and what would you do?
- I think I would want to become myself in a more developed state just so that I would be able to share my talents and knowledge with others thus helping to create a life that's more interesting and longlasting..

What keeps me motivated is my passion for drawing. I really truly love it. I’ve been drawing for almost 10 years now and I love every aspect of it. It allows you to just dream away, use your imagination and to get feelings out. It can be an outlet for many things and I simply couldn’t imagine living without it. I am blessed to have some wonderful support in real life, on my website, FB and Deviantart who all keep me motivated to do what I love.

I was invited to Shadowness by Ladyfanhir, and I have to say beeing here only a few days it seems to be a very caring and supportive community, something other art sites seem to lack at times. Very happy to be here :)
Hmm, I don’t think I’d want to be any other person, I’d just like to be happy and positive with everything I do. However, I’d love to be able to just for one day try and be a bird, being free and just fly around the world and see it all from above :) -

- What keeps you motivated in the world of art?
Art is a part of me so I would say the thing that keeps me motivated in the world of art is me. The times that life has gotten in the way and caused my work ethic with my art to lag I have found myself very dissatisfied and frustrated. Art is the only true language I speak and without it I find myself lost and mute.

I saw the link posted via a friend on Facebook and thought I would take a look. I'm glad I did!
- If you could be anyone you want to be, who would you choose and what would you do?
I would be a more centered "me". He would be an artist with a clear sense of self and a far more defined language of art. I feel I have a great deal more to offer to the art world and am not ready to switch tracks just yet (that's for the next time I come back here). -

actually i'm is an architect.. but i think architect is an artist too.. architect always make beautiful shape and color and texture for the building or home or some artwoks there..
i like drawing and coloring because when i was 6 years old i saw my mother drawing some beautiful picture on the paper for me... And she is an architect too... she is great...

this is start from when i learn photography and i know Gregorius Suhartoyo. i learn much from him and he invite me to this great community because he knew if i like art very much.. and he think this community is good for me...

hmm.. maybe its simple.. i'm want to be me and i want to be people that always happy and make the other happy too.. wwkkkkkk... "your smile can make everyone smiling at you..."
