Very nice! Cool combination of colors and shapes... I especially love the tribal shapes... and the simple text... (a lot of people put too much accent on text effects which just makes the whole thing too "heavy")...
Jan 15th, 2008 ReplyIn my opinion (but it is just my opinion based on this single picture and not the whole layout of the site) you could have used a bit of the white lines in the background from the previous pic....
Nice job again... and keep them coming....

Yep, this version is much better. very clean and fresh, even though you kept the cool looking shapes and the green tone. The font works really well with the rest of the design.

The double circle is an orig brush that Photoshop has. the shade circle is a normal circle with a stroke and the fill opacity reduced. The swirls started off as a block of black and then after some cutting using the elliptical marquee tool was formed into what you see there. The thin swirls are the filled in swirls, with a stroke and fill reduced to zero. Lol then I made it into a brush. Whew :wipes sweat from forehead: lol allot to explain. And thank you for the comment nox =0) always like hearing from you have a bit more talent then I.

looks better now XD (btw, it's wishingstar <- all one word~)
Dec 18th, 2007 ReplyIMHO, you still can loose some of the onlines without the filling. i still find it slightly cluttered.. but it looks great in the end =)
keep up the good work!
