I am a photographer, traditional artist and general hobbyist of numerous different art forms. I have been working on my photography skills since I was 14years old. Ten years later, I am proud to say that although not professional by any means, this is now something I am so in love with I couldn't live without. I will continue to build my photography skills up for many years to come! I also can do minor retouching on photographs. Jul 4th, 201125 year old photographer From southwest Norway. My favorit subjects to photograph are flowers, great landscaps, animals and people. Have my own studio at home, and I love taking dreaming, emotional and expressive pictures. I use a Nikon D5000 at the moment, but am going to upgrade to a D7000 as soon as I can afford it. I am here to learn, browse and share.
Aug 19th, 2011I have been shooting photos for about 4 years now. It’s always been, and I hope it will always be a hobby, but only time will tell. I have never had a desire to do this for a living, only because I love it so much, and it’s the best escape from my real life world of work and business. Photography relaxes me, allows me to see many amazing places and, more than anything, ESCAPE. My Interests include Nature: Landscapes, Waterscapes, Sky and Flowers. Over the past year I have had a few showings of my work, and even had some success with sales. This next year I plan to do more, and travel more. I enjoy learning hands-on and sharing what I’ve learn the same way. I believe that everything learned should be shared or it’s wasted. If you have any questions regarding my work, where it was shot, or how I did it, please ask. Feedback is always welcome. It’s the best learning tool in the world if you’re willing to listen. When I tackle a topic, I don’t think I’m done until I’ve found the simplest way to look at it. I think of simplicity as a process. You can’t always start there, but you can find it or create more of it as you go. I also think of simplicity as a by-product. It happens when I find the elegant path or the simple truth. Sometimes I see simplicity as a means to an end — where the end is a simpler understanding or a simpler result or a simpler way to share. I have a BFA in Fine Art from the University of Hawaii where I studied Polynesian art history. I love travel, and culture, and cheesecakes.
