Worming Portraits #60

The idea for this type of design produced in 2006. After a long creative break, I wanted to make some "abstract" build, but had no idea for composing! Sometimes the head is so full of ideas that this is just another in the way, so that one sometimes has to take a break!

The idea for the series "Worming-Portraits" was on the road. She was lying on the street! A seemingly hundreds of times over roadkill piece of silver paper, which looked to me like a funny worm with a large head and tail. Actually, something nondescript, but I did not go out of my head, as the paper was deformed so that it looked like a "worm". For fun I then after a few days this worm just once drawn in Illustrator, and once tried what you can do with it perhaps. This resulted in numerous, time-consuming and beautiful work.

Die Idee für diese Art der Gestaltung entstand 2006. Nach einer längeren kreativen Durststrecke wollte ich mal wieder etwas "Abstraktes" erstellen, hatte aber so recht keine Idee für ein Composing! Manchmal ist der Kopf so voller Ideen, dass diese sich nur gegenseitig im Wege stehen so das man sich mal ein päuschen gönnen muss!

Die Idee für die Serie "Worming-Portraits" entstand auf der Straße. Sie lag nämlich auf der Straße!! Und zwar ein scheinbar schon hundertmal überfahrenes Stück Silberpapier, was für mich aussah wie ein lustiger Wurm mit dickem Kopf und Schwänzchen. Eigentlich etwas unscheinbares, nur mir ging nicht aus dem Kopf, wie das Papier sich so verformen konnte, dass es aussah wie ein"Wurm". Aus Spaß hab ich dann nach einigen Tagen diesen Wurm einfach mal in Illustrator gezeichnet und mal probiert was man damit vielleicht anfangen kann. Und somit entstanden zahlreiche, zeitintensive und wunderschöne Arbeiten.
