This is really beautifull.
First of all you choose a really great stock photo. Then you made a fantastic work giving this photo a dark atmosphere and increasing the mysterious feeling but keeping all the beauty of the photo. I really like how you used brushes in her skin and the blood in the feather is also very well done! The red eye suits the picture very well.
I'm curious about one thing: was half of the figure's face already covered in shadow in the stock photo? or did you made that shadow covering half of her face, if yes then you did an aesome work with the shadows, if it was already in the stock photo, then once again i say you did a great choice.

the original photo wasn't a stock photo though. it was posted in a stock account, and when i was browsing through, i got this idea right after seeing the photo. i then messaged the photographer asking if i could use it, and so she let me. ^^
the shadow on the face was not there. the original photo was actually quite bright. =]
