I'm Tomasz Kartasinski aka Wagner. I'm an Art Director in creative agency Pompidou. You can check our works @ www.pompidou.pl I Live in Warsaw, the capitol of Poland. I'm 22 years old.
What does ART mean to you?
Art. It's a place where I can go and get rest. Art is my desk in the corner of my flat and me. It's like a playground. You want to get there fast and have fun. Everything can happen.
What is your art form? And how long have you delved in this?
Every single day I see some interesting things. Everything has got influence on my own style. From 4 years till now I'm searching my own unique style, keeps things fresh and different.
Was there anything or anyone in particular that prompted your choice of art form?
Yes, my parents. My Mom taught me strong will and passion, and my Dad motivate me to do things, that I want to do in my life. Simple. I want to make artworks. I'm reaching it in personal and commercial works.
How would you describe your art to someone who haven't seen it?
It's fusion between sharp geometric shapes, and delicate shape of women body. Beautiful girls and warm tones, makes you wanna hug them ;)
Have you had education in art or are you self-taught?
I'm self taught. I closed the door to my room and kept practicing. If you want do something good, forget about sleeping. I was doing this. Now, I've got more time to sleep, because I know how to do things ;)
Who and/or what inspire you?
I like to watch fashion photos. I found a wide spectrum in it, which inspire me. I like work from Joao Oliveira and Oh Yeah Studio.
What is the greatest lesson in art that you've learned?
Work hard, have fun, no drama.
What can you teach others?
Simplicity. I can show them, that less is more, and they can reach their goal in other way.
What tips can you offer to better oneself in his or her art?
