Jan 13th, 2011Do you want to know a secret? I saw him He walked alone, wandering in lonely worlds, travelling around eternal landscapes which blurred under his feet. He wanted to know the aroma of the unreal, and in his trip full of dreams, he collected the fantasy trapped in the stars, the sighs that the wind kept giving him every morning and night, he received the visit of the creatures who live in dreams, and from them he learnt the essence of the delicate touch of passion. He captured in his notebook those dreams which didnt come true, the minds dark betrayals, the aromas from the intense reality which he will never be able to live. Because he doesnt live the present, neither the past, or the future, he is the shadow which follows the wind, the sound which accompanies the fantasies from the unreal. He looks for beauty in the darkness, for the passion in the inert, every sigh immerses him in a world where creation is life. Sometimes he felt like time slid through his fingers, and in every second the most dark ghosts would overcome him, he woke up from his litany with a creative spirit, and his sensations, his fears, disappeared at creation. Close your eyes, and in each sparkle of your heart, he will reflect your souls fears. His designs will make you go deep in his universe, where those dreams that we let go live... nekro.es contact@nekro.es
Jul 25th, 2007My name is Hayley, and personally, that's enough that needs to be said about my name, I assume. I'm an artist who is inspired by many things, but mostly, I am inspired by the Spirit. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, and that will NEVER change. In many of my pieces, there will be an attempt to show the spiritual side to an event or maybe even a prayer I just want to synthesize in to something that can be seen in a different way. I'm an artist who varies what materials I use, and I have fun with that. I am not a fan of charcoal, and have an appreciation for the artists who can use it. Maybe one day, I'll be able to find my way to use it as well. In some of my pieces, you will find my symbolism to be very direct. For most artists, this is a limitation. For me, however, it is a pro rather than a con. To leave open the meaning of a piece is to take away its meaning, in many senses. Therefore, if I want to say something through art that is strong, I will attempt as much as possible to make it easy to relate to most of the time, but that doesn't mean it won't be direct. This is not usually an attractive quality in the art world, but this is where we need a revolution, non? Art is not something that should be judged with so many rules as it is. It is something that should be left to the artist to choose how they will portray something, rather than to taint their vision with the vision of others, just because it is the "fad" of the art world. It is fine to use the methods that are popular if they are you- if not, I believe it best to go on about how you feel something should be shown, rather than to change your art. Growing is not a matter of conforming into these popularized methods, it is a matter of finding yourself, not being open. One is far more likely to lose yourself in the process. Now, that does not mean not to study other artists. One should take the time to look at other art, and if they like the features in the art, to use them. However, I don't feel that it is right to open your mind to thinking that their style- or concept- is truth, which is what many people choose to do. If one chooses to believe something, they must test it as what it is. Take art for what it is- an expression. It is not a contest. It is not a ranking process. It is merely the thoughts or feelings of another, but not always of the one who creates it. This is why my pieces are direct. This is why I choose the style I do. This is my explanation, and one should take it as stated, and try not to probe into it very much, for it has more reasoning behind it than is said, mostly in a spiritual sense. I will not leave my pieces open to twisting or interpretation, as it would change drastically the truth of which I have found to be fact. Therefore, I challenge everyone who sees the pieces to take them, learn their concept, and test it.

Jan 2nd, 2008I first discovered digital art back in 2005, but i didn't give it much attention till the beginning of 2006. Now it has become something i need to do in order to express my thoughts, my feelings, myself. I use Adobe Photoshop for my works. Sometimes i make sketches in pencil, scan them and continue working in the editing program. That makes it more original, and easier for me when it comes to expressing my ideas. My images usually say a lot about me.. so just open your eyes.
