Bautista is a Fine Arts major in Advertising student of Bulacan State University who has exemplified his skills in different fields. He has topped visual arts competitions like the 4th Cocolife Colors of Life Student Visual Arts Competition – Runner up (College category), 2011 National Student Art Competition (Art Petron) – Grand Prize (T-shirt design) and Semifinalist (Painting category), 43rd Shell National Students Art Competition (NSAC) – 5th honorable mention, 2010 Metrobank Art Design Excellence (MADE) – Semifinalist, and, a grandprize winner in the 1st Bulacan State University Painting Contest. Aside from his artistic excellence, Batista has contributed in BulSU’s official student publicaton, Pacesetter, as a member for 3 years and the Art Director for his last year. He has won Regional and Luzonwide press competitions in editorial cartooning and comic strip drawing.

Dec 16th, 2011I am a freelance artist at 17 Most of my art is inspired by the human body Not the outside but the insides of it. The bones, muscles and mainly the veins. (Yeah its a little creepy)Also trees. Lace. Anything that involes a line going into another line. Ink blots. Rips. Texture of the ceilings. splater paint. Abstract and surreal. and emotion. Basically. I want my art to create a tangible feeling to an emotion. Sometimes people say they understand. But we don't always want to hear that. We want them to feel what they are going through. That's why I make art.

Mar 13th, 2011My name is Rick Corbett. I am a graphite and colored pencil portrait artist. I am a self-taught artist. I am also a member of the Woburn Guild of Artists. I am inspired not only by other artists but from life itself. I am inspired by people, textures, smells, sounds, all my senses seem to come alive when I draw. My drawings take me on an artistic journey of self discovery. I feel my soul awaken when I draw. GOD has given me a gift and it's a gift I hope to use to bring people closer together. It's a gift I hope to use to capture the beauty that's in this World. I don't want my drawings to simply be pictures drawn on pieces of paper - I want my drawings to be a celebration of life. My portraits are like my children. I created them and I'm proud of them. I hope to change the way people "see" each other. Everyone is special in their own special way. People trul inspire me. I love to learn about people, I love to learn backgrounds, traditions, and cultures. I think this is why I became a portrait artist, it just seemed natural to me. I believe that every person is beautiful and I hope to bring out that beauty in each portrait I draw. I hope to bring out the person's soul. I thank GOD everyday for the gift HE has given me. It's a gift that I hope to use to bring people closer together. It's one I hope to bring everyone's inner beauty out. It's one that I hope to make us all learn something about ourselves. I see the world in frames, as long as I can remember I have taken snap shots of everything I see. Photography to me is very important; it is how we can document the events of our lives. Things are always changing. I biggest obstacle is making sure my camera is always ready. One of my photography teachers told me to take a picture a day. I think this is very good advice and something I feel is important for me. It is a form of therapy, relaxation and peace. Today with the modern world of digital it is so easy to snap away without taking the time we once had to. With digital photography you see your images right away. I think that it is easy to forget to take that extra time to get the photograph you really want because you can take so many.

O'Hoski primary creates his work using Acrylic and Oil, but still finds favour in using Watercolour. To date, Christopher has exhibited in New York, Washington, Atlanta, Austin, Brooklyn, San Francisco and Toronto, while recently being published in International Contemporary Artists Volumes I, II and III out of Greece and New York . Né au Sud-Ouest de l’Ontario, Canada, Christopher O'Hoski a étudié en histoire de l'art, peinture, dessin, design, et l'enseignement artistique au Collège Sheridan, l'École d'Art Dundas Valley et le Conservatoire Royal. Apr 27th, 2011I am a fantasy artist. I studied art in high school and took some art classes in college, but I am mostly self-taught. I work mainly with watercolors but I also work with colored pencil, ink, graphite, and I have just started working with acrylic. I love all types and forms of art.
