KILLER idea. Love the hippopotamus... It's like a bidet haha!

That electric blue is phenomenal. Must have been a blast to work with. Is that cobalt blue, as a base?

  I think so. I usually only work with ultramarine or thalo, and this looks like neither...

  I just realised I do not have burnt umber or sienna amongst my new oils... or black for that matter. But I hardly use that.

  Somehow I just completely forgot about burnt umber when I went on my rampage during the big Blick sale a few months before... probably because I was racking up on the "Elite" line of colours, since the discount was so outrageous.

What a wonderful Idea with the rhino head .. the little kid what is part of the tongue .. the boy without wings are tremendous .. the blue dress doesn't match so really with the rest of the painting .. dunno why I think that way but the rest of the colours are harmonizing very much together and this blue is just something I never expected :)
