Next to my home in Misawa, Japan while serving in Japan for 3 years. Loved it there, a couple minutes from the Pacific, half hour from the mountains, and beautiful landscapes in between. Was taken for my wife, to show how awesome the town I lived in was.

Oirasi Gorge in northern Japan. A color washed plate, was supposed to be quite simple though the color never showed good shadows, was more of a graphic print, so it was washed with selenium concentrate and other chemistry. Color is still a pain, however the print shows through, I think so at least. Thank you for looking.

A very cool print! Content wise, it's nothing special, but I made the print from canvas and the negative with half color chemistry and transferred it with kool aid. Mountain Berry kool aid if I remember right. So yeah, the print didn't last long, but I could still scan and save it. Just having fun, probably thought it was the coolest thing in the world at the time. Thank you for looking.

From 2003 I think, made the print a couple years ago though. Raindrops, lots of color, the sky was really bright, but lacked punch, so I used a couple of ocean photographs to get the color, sunrises and sunsets. Like a collage of a days cycle put in it. Yeah. Taken in Hachinohe, Japan. Lotsa love for this little hillside shrine.

Hirosaki Castle, Hirosaki Japan Beautiful gardens surrounding the castle, where a swan decided to house up. Amazing place if you get to visit. Just like most of Japan.

Fairly old print, not really sure what I did with this, though the size was 5" x 7" on a tin plate. I think this is the only print I have of a feather.
