Name is Mateo (or Matt), I'm a 3D Animator with a Bachelors Degree in 3d Graphic Animation & Advertising Art (The Art Center) & have worked for a few Gaming Companies in California & Texas. I've also been involved with many projects for Ad Agencies or Film in the Industry. Most of my Art is outdated with the exception of my recent works which are now property of their rightful owners (companies) which I will only showcase what I can due to Copyrights, etc. I'm a longtime member of SN and have been inactive for quite sometime. Well I remain one of the most senior artists on Shadowness having been with the site pretty much since its birth, from starting out small to growing bigger everyday. I have met loads of fantastic people on here and continue to do so on a daily basis, if you wish to become a friend just add me its that simple :) I hail from the UK where its very wet at the moment but that doesn't change much, I'm 27 and a Senior Designer for a Web Design and Development firm in the Midlands. I'm open to comissions, I don't have many good quality examples at the moment besides the old stuff on my gallery but I'm currently working on some Psy Trance themed album covers which I'm posting here soon. I was born in Romania in 1982. I grew up painting and drawing, and then I betrayed images for words when I went to university to study Journalism. I am grateful to that time, as I came to discover photography and digital art. I am self-taught and keep on learning. I live and work in Hollywood, Florida. I am currently a freelancer. I was once told that one of my images (The Suicide) is like a Tarot card: "you are given the tools to fill in your own feelings, your own mind and thoughts. Its not to obvious, yet not too hard to envision" (Elisabeth Gustafson). I aim for this with every image I create. My artwork is as well about you as it is about me.

�Do you want to know a secret? I saw him� He walked alone, wandering in lonely worlds, travelling around eternal landscapes which blurred under his feet. He wanted to know the aroma of the unreal, and in his trip full of dreams, he collected the fantasy trapped in the stars, the sighs that the wind kept giving him every morning and night, he received the visit of the creatures who live in dreams, and from them he learnt the essence of the delicate touch of passion. He captured in his notebook those dreams which didn�t come true, the mind�s dark betrayals, the aromas from the intense reality which he will never be able to live. Because he doesn�t live the present, neither the past, or the future, he is the shadow which follows the wind, the sound which accompanies the fantasies from the unreal. He looks for beauty in the darkness, for the passion in the inert, every sigh immerses him in a world where creation is life. Sometimes he felt like time slid through his fingers, and in every second the most dark ghosts would overcome him, he woke up from his litany with a creative spirit, and his sensations, his fears, disappeared at creation. Close your eyes, and in each sparkle of your heart, he will reflect your soul�s fears.
