"IF I could"
This sepia toned artwork depicts a series of iconic images that evokes the feeling of timelesness and deep wisdom. Platforms of varying height and length overlap each other in the lower part of the painting, A chair sits atop the highest platform facing a glowing white window that stretches far amidst the ripples of water. Contrastingly, pillars of equal heights towers above amidst the unending swirling clouds.

The three equal Pillars symbolizes the Trinity. All encompassing, highest and unending. Majestic in it's form and stature.
In their immaterial and formless shape, the clouds swirl as if making a generous bow over to the three magnificent Columns.

While the platforms; in varying shapes and sizes, are us, human beings. Inconsistent and imperfect. Striving to reach upwards into the heavens but our capabilities as mere mortals could only get us so far.
The chair signifies our want for knowledge and wisdom. We try to reach upwards but to no avail. For we are only humans; small and limited. We try to reach the sky but our best and brightest idea could not even match the lowest and simplest thought of God.

That impossibility is also represented not just in the prospect of height, but also in the unending width of the still waters. Our thoughts are like droplets to God's sea, a ripple in the vastness of the ocean.

Amidst all the gap and our unworthiness, a bright window shows us God's Love and hope for us. His wisdom seeping from the glass and reaches us irregardless of our distance and inconsistensies, our weakness and pride. His wisdom is like light to our eyes; we can't grasp it but it reaches through our soul.
