I admire all kinds of photography, but I tend to gravitate toward macro, closeup themes and animals. I got caught up with photography about 5 years ago and I've been shooting ever since, sometimes more, sometimes less. I am constantly learning, reading, and trying to improve.
Mar 7th, 2012The work I create is heavily influenced by fashion, beauty and editorial imagery. I love being able to control and create an idea from scratch. With the light, the design, and with the collaboration of different people. I have worked as a photographer, and as an assistant. I am open to differing work fields, so long as they are creative.

May 25th, 2011I've always had an interest in photography. I've been enthusiastically taking pictures on and off all of my life. I was fortunate to have a mother working as an independent graphic designer, so I had all the tools to play with from an early age. For a long time, though, I'd focused on other things, but when I bought my own DSLR in the start of 2011 everything kind of exploded, and I my love for photography reappeared tenfold. I found a natural connection with photography and exploring various abandoned locations, which I've always enjoyed doing. Ultimately it's what drove me to buy a decent camera, in hopes of documenting these kind of places. How come I didn't make that connection sooner is beyond me now... Derelict buildings has always struck a chord in me. Curiosity and an explorers mindset is what drives me to seek out locations that most people just shrug of as eyesores in the scenery. The dense, sometimes overwhelming, sense of isolation and the crack in time some buildings possess is what I find engrossing. Also the sense of being in a place you're not supposed to be, appeals to my inner thirteen year old self. :) However, I'm not excluding other types of photography; all genre and sub-genre in photography interests me.
