I was born and educated in the Philippines, and been away from home for almost 20 years now.
I am a self taught artist, though having an artistic genes in my family (father's side) does help a lot. I learned the basic from attending local art classes, and having different art teachers. Through these, I gained some knowledge on different techniques and styles though I know I have a long way to go.
I am a member of SININGapor, a group of Filipino artist living and working in Singapore but we are all into and love art. We had a few art exhibitons presented, as well as I joined and participated to some smaller art shows outside my art group.
My works not only focuses in my country's culture and traditions but from my travels, trying different subjects, as well as experienting different media, styles and techniques. Through my artwork, I wanted to express my feelings, show and share my thoughts and mood, as well as show the beauty of each of my subject through my painting and artwork.
