This was basically a joke. I asked for people to give me ideas to see how well I could do with commissions, and someone joked that I should do killer watermelons. I laughed... then I thought, why not?
The caption on Deviant Art was,

"Born from human waste, secret government ooze, and watermelon seeds that someone flushed down the toilet, they're mean, they're green, and they aint taking our shit anymore... no pun intended... well maybe a little."
