i think even though i (and you and others) have so much hatred for that site, there's a little part of us that still love it. i mean, even though it's buried under tons and tons of shit and ponies and millionaires begging for wells... there is something that still resembles a community there. which is why i (and you) still post shit there.

but i agree, and we all have met such awesome people on that site. and i KNOW i wouldn't have gotten anywhere with my photography had i not stayed on dA. so there. but having said that, i totally whored myself out and started uploading my stock there... because i want money, even if it's only fitty cents per image. i don't care about my digital images at all, i will do nothing with them, might as well put them to use and get paid for it (IF i'll get paid... just because it's there doesn't mean people will buy it) (even though it's dirt cheap). i do however have more respect for sites like shadowness nowadays... and i'm not LEAVING dA, i'm just sort of... not there as often as i used to :/
