This is a tribute to my own Lebanese roots. I tried to depict Phoenicia, which is the culture from which the Lebanese come from. The Phoenicians were sea-faring traders who carried merchandise across the Mediterranean.

The tree on the right is a Cedrus libani, and it is characteristic of the region. It also appears in the flag of Lebanon.

Painted entirely in Photoshop.
