Portrait of my daughter when she was 4. About 30 hours of work in total. Made of a single layer (except the decoration). Now I'm always uing more than one layer.
Sure I know it! Aleksandra (Scheherazade2c) told me on DeviantArt about it first. Now I use it everytime. I love the supplied palettes, gradients and brushes. Good work, really!
Yes, I love to frame my pictures like this. I once saw it done that way and now it's become somehow compelling :D. To the risk of not being very original but I just like it. Hence I introduce variations in my sig...

Thanks again. The reference photo was rather crappy for compressed a lot and blurred at some places but I'm happy with how it turned out.
