these are some sketches i made for soem friends and one is like my first test
the one on the left, these where done directly in grey makers, no pencil, i really wanted to use the tan of paper to be the main base and create an effect like carving, adding the highlights i use an opaque white ink marker to give that volume. :3

Great idea, using the tan paper as the medium tone. The results really do look sculptural! Nice ^-^
