Yes, It's VIncent(Heie) from YuYu Hakusho, one of my favorite character.. One thing that i like about this is, I used a girl for the reference.
wow... O.O lol! that's cool!
Does she look like vincent? ~.~
I think so. here's the reference. http://img386.imageshack.us/i/1158526995hq9.jpg/
haha! yeah, I see a slight resemblance... but she's much cuter :P
I'm interested in the way you work. It's similar to how I sketch. I use references, but then I take it another way.
Yes that's right, copying the reference doesn't give anything to your own style...that's the way I do my artwork, hehhee..
lol yup yup! I agree. :)
Lol, why is it called Vincent? Hiei was my favorite cartoon character when I was a kid :D
yeah. we have a filipino version of this. Hiei - vincent

yes it is.
i love mostly every thing about this.. BUT the HEAD BAND behind the hairs :) is where you lost me... it's way FLAT... but hey this is just me... GOOD HARD WORK... AWESOME JOB on FACE really
ahh .. haha about the HEADBAND. I make it look like what's on the anime, I think I just carried away on doing the hair. ^^
hey no worries.. we artist are like that... anyhow .. keep it up ;)
I must say the brushing is a bit blurry, but it's an interesting style. Just need to make the details crisper. Same for the background -- It seems rather low-res.
Yeah. I notice it, I just got a stock from somewhere on the background, I didn't notice it a low res.. I made it in 2008, that's the time that i enjoying using brushes.. Thanks sir for the comment.
