Stone Picker

by ipotograpi in My Photography

Taking advantage of the early morning sun before it begins to scorch, this old stone picker carefully select stones of specific sizes and color, hoping to collect enough stones to sell just in time to buy food for supper.

Stone picking in our hometown in Luna, La Union has fed many households throughout the years. It has been the practice of many in between harvest seasons.

Stones sorted by size and color are bought in bulk, most of which are sold overseas.
