Portrait of one of those iconic actors from another time. It is Errol Flynn as the adventurer and privateer Geoffrey Thorpe from the 1940 swashbuckler movie "The Sea Hawk". I wanted to capture a climatic moment of that movie and as it is, I painted using tones of black and white. This painting was made with the software Paintool SAI. 2009.
