Interesting, I also like the frame you've chosen to this. My only problem with this is that it's slightly blurry and that it's not photographed straight forward, the piece itself is beautiful.
You're right on it..it is a snapshot, didn't pay attention to details but wanted to transfer the feel of it. professionally I should of cut them out of their frames for taking photos of them.thanks for the complement!
Tips is to light the painting well and photograph it directly above/in front of it so that the viewer online can get get a better view. A bit of frame is totally ok to have though.
