While he isn't my favorite character of the game, nor is the game my favorite of the series, the technique in this is undeniable. I love the textures in his coat, and the environment. I also like the way the light looks on his bandana. His cheekbones look a little too high to be natural, and I think his face would have looked more balanced if his far eye peaked, slightly, from beneath his bangs. Overall, great picture. Captures the essence of the character, and shows good technique.

  Thank you! To be honest the game isn't my favorite from the series either. I painted this before I played through:) Yep, I think you have a good point with the cheekbone. I think I also went slightly asymmetrical there because I didn't have the other eye in the picture to see the symmetry line. Nowadays I would put the hair on an extra layer to remove it while painting the face, but back then I think I only used one layer for that. I guess I could revise this part at the cheek slightly with the liquify filter...
