Thanks. I'm using the power of color more and more as I paint. Plus, I've noticed that snow and ice can have a definite purple tint to it at dusk or dawn in addition to the usual white and blue.
Good observation! When my car broke down on me, I was footing it in the snow almost everyday. I loved the different colors that projected off the snow, also I think it would have been amazing if you could have found a way to make the snow and ice sparkle! That has always been my favorite part of the snow! :D

From Michigan to Florida seems like quite a stark contrast, at least during the winter, ha. But snow and ice do have a certain magic to them; I guess that makes up for the freezing temperatures during the colder months, lol.

I loved how you placed purple into the painting. It draws your eye to the entrance of the caverns.

Thank you. Even though I live in Florida I am originally from Michigan where it snows. To this day I'm still obsessed with ice and snow.
