Dec 12th, 2011About the Artist Born in Cavite yet a pure Bulakenyo, Renz Marrione Bautsita is a personification of youth with a heart for art. Bautista is a Fine Arts major in Advertising student of Bulacan State University who has exemplified his skills in different fields. He has topped visual arts competitions like the 4th Cocolife Colors of Life Student Visual Arts Competition – Runner up (College category), 2011 National Student Art Competition (Art Petron) – Grand Prize (T-shirt design) and Semifinalist (Painting category), 43rd Shell National Students Art Competition (NSAC) – 5th honorable mention, 2010 Metrobank Art Design Excellence (MADE) – Semifinalist, and, a grandprize winner in the 1st Bulacan State University Painting Contest. Aside from his artistic excellence, Batista has contributed in BulSU’s official student publicaton, Pacesetter, as a member for 3 years and the Art Director for his last year. He has won Regional and Luzonwide press competitions in editorial cartooning and comic strip drawing.

I am inspired not only by other artists but from life itself. I am inspired by people, textures, smells, sounds, all my senses seem to come alive when I draw. My drawings take me on an artistic journey of self discovery. I feel my soul awaken when I draw. GOD has given me a gift and it's a gift I hope to use to bring people closer together. Oct 5th, 2011Hi! I'm Eldiardo de la Pena, a freelance graphic artist from the Philippines. I love to design and create stuffs that my intuitive faculty perceives. I’m a fan of simple and simplicity. When I tackle a topic, I don’t think I’m done until I’ve found the simplest way to look at it. I think of simplicity as a process. You can’t always start there, but you can find it or create more of it as you go. I also think of simplicity as a by-product. It happens when I find the elegant path or the simple truth. Sometimes I see simplicity as a means to an end — where the end is a simpler understanding or a simpler result or a simpler way to share. May 7th, 2011Married, 51 years old, 2 children and owner of a family business. Photography and working with Photoshop are hobbies. In 2011 my life went through some changes that took every free second I had, meaning I had little to no time to do what grew to be real passions. In 2012 I will do an effort to save at least some hours for myself to be able to remember what I forgot about PS and taking pictures... and create again. In the meantime, whatever I share will be old works that I hope fit the standards of Shadowness. I love to browse galleries and I'm very selective and honest when it comes to follow an artist due to my lack of time. That is also why I won't probably send "Thank you" messages for being followed, but please know that I will be honored of every single follow I get. And I will be thankful! When a work touches me, comments flow and there's nothing I can do to stop my fingers from writing a comment to the artist. There I always try to let them know what exactly made me favorite his/her work and what is special about it, or what it made me feel. Constructive critiques and advise are always welcome! It was thank to them that I could improve from nothing to something acceptable :) ! I speak Spanish, English and German... and some Portuguese. Let's enjoy art !! Manny :)
