dA change anything for the benefit of its users? seems they've turned into yet another BIG CORPORATION! Imagine the fees from 8 MILLION accounts - well, many of them paid for! Not to mention their take on sales! Why should they have to work for the profits when they are already just flowing in? ARG! LOL!

yes that's certainly true...place has lost most of what made it great.

I notice that that is how things always go... like here in the Pittsburgh area, every so often we will get a new radio station that is basically independent, and plays great music without all the annoying advertisements, and then it gets more and more popular and starts making money, and some big company moves in, offers them a huge wad of cash to buy the station, and then it turns into another piece of crap commercial garbage station, and after a while, it goes out of business... and yet they keep doing it every time a decent station starts.

I don't understand why these business men don't understand, you have to give people something worthwhile, we don't pay for stuff just because of the name, if you take away what makes something great, you're sure to loose eventually.

I don't understand them either! It seems many are in it just for the game and whether they lose the business or not - oh well I'm sure the insurance will cover it! If not, it's a tax write-off! ARG!!! I'm sure it's the game that motivates so many, rather than the more sensible approach people like you and I take!

indeed... but why does their game have to ruin the things I like?

I know... I hate that... BTW, did you hear the news... 8 of the senators who backed SOPA are now backing off and withdrawing support, 8 big name senators

Yes I just saw the news on one of the Second Life fashion feeds! The usual one I go to is 'browned out' by their SOPA/PIPA cover-up ad thingie (a dark brown transparency) and I can't read it! ARG!!! Just a taste of what would be to come! I also read that one of the originators of the bill said it was irresponsible for sites like Google and Wikipedia to black out! LOL! That's the sort who can't stand it when people go on strike for a reason too! What a doorknob! What did he think was going to happen if the bills were passed?!?!!? :D
