Thought I may catch up to you here! I've deleted two-thirds of my gallery on dA already but would rather have done what you did instead. That will get the message spread around much better!

I appreciate the support... I wish even half the others on dA would at least make an attempt to understand what's at stake.. I spend about half my time there explaining it over and over to people who have no concept what Inline linking is, or think its a great thing, or that they somehow get more pageviews because of it... nd of course, I would just bet not one of them has bothered to visit the wiki link
Feb 18th Replythe idea to replace my art with the text page actually came about because I wanted to make the stolen art appear on that other site as an accusation instead...if its really a link, and some site is linking my work they no longer show art, they show that text page instead, and if they have actually copied my art, then I would know and be able to file a real DCMA

What you did is what I discussed with another party. I noted you. Sadly the inline linking is fine within a closed network of sites/servers to share data with. The down side is you've left the barn door wide open. dA has the images distributed but not necessarily duplicated. You've noticed when one region has a server down the next region is running but may have spotty images "missing" here and there. This is outside my field but that's my take on it.

I see there are some other of my dA friends on here so after I 'catch up' over there, I will have to start adding people over here! So far I'm just adding the ones who add me...it's kinda thrilling to have a chance to be seen anew! :D

I do not know how you suggest a daily inspiration, I think it has some info about that in the FAQ. And I especially don't know how you get one... I've gotten one daily and about three features in the daily inspiration list, although I have no idea why or how.
