In all forms of traditional art, some knowledge of color and its consequenses is necessary when attemting to create a work that has the greatest impact. Even black and white photographers must understand the complex relationship between first and second order colors, to understand where the zones will fall once they set their camera and press the shutter button. Each color combination has not only an effect on the eye, but colors can also profoundly affect the psychological impact that a piece has on its viewer. You can also utilize the composition of your colors to lead the viewer's eye through the piece, whether by exercising the rule of thirds or a formulae relating to complimentary ratios.
This week, lets take a look at some solid Color Compositions!
