The Growth of Shadowness #12

Every Sunday the Shadowness staff gets together and we have a staff meeting. Meng runs down the list of new features that he's crafted in his mad scientist's laboratory with Renyn cackling madly in the back-ground as the staff nods in aquiescence. Lol.
Actually, we have votes, discussions and some arguments over what direction is best for the site, what will help the community thrive and what will help us continue to grow!
If any of you have any questions, comments or suggestions, this is the place to share them. We don't do anything without getting feedback from the community!

Right now the Community is exploding with activity! We've got massive new features for the last 3 weeks and just wait 'til you see all the new awesome that Meng's been working on! Thanks to everyone for making Shadowness BOOM!

New Features and News:

Here are the features that we've added in order to optimize your Shadowness experience! HUGE awesomeness this week

- Reply to Feed show original thread. This was a hard one to create. Now when you click "Reply to # comments", the screen refreshes and shows the whole original thread!
- The "Online User List" has been updated: There are badges next to user names for Staff, Mods, PRO, Level10+, Chatting, and Featured Portfolio!
- Now the "Follow" button is everywhere! In the Feed, on Artwork pages, on the Online list, and on Most Active!
- Top Menu bar has changed! Now there are Icons instead of simple text menus!
- Daily Rankings for Most Active instead of once per month in the Shadowness Front Page sidebar!
- Now artworks in your Feed show full descriptions in addition to titles.
- New Personal Message feature! Now you can check both your Inbox and Sent folders to better answer and organize your comments.
- Fixed post button in /chat for mobile devices, should post smoothly now!

Here is what Shadowness Members have helped us achieve:

- We're now receiving 60,000+ pageviews a day, steadily. That's a solid 2 MILLION pageviews monthly.
- On Facebook, we've reached 3,710 fans!
- Our daily output of articles is now 3-4 features per day, each article being viewed 400+ times!
- The Daily Inspiration/Daily Feature article is veiwed more than 4000 times and shared by over 1,000 people each week!
- Shadowness members are subscribing at a rate of 1-5 per day now! We're so happy that you're happy with the features and the site!
