The Growth of Shadowness #10

Every Sunday the Shadowness staff gets together and we have a staff meeting. Meng runs down the list of new features that he's crafted in his mad scientist's laboratory with Renyn cackling madly in the back-ground as the staff nods in aquiescence. Lol.
Actually, we have votes, discussions and some arguments over what direction is best for the site, what will help the community thrive and what will help us continue to grow!
If any of you have any questions, comments or suggestions, this is the place to share them. We don't do anything without getting feedback from the community! This week we've gotten several big updates in the works, plus we've added some exciting new features. Come have a look!

New Features and News:

Here are the features that we've added in order to optimize your Shadowness experience!

- Private Message System is ONLINE, BABY! Now you can Privately message anyone on the SN network!
- Shadowness Moderators! - A new group of Volunteers has stepped forward to help with the monumental task of Daily Feature and Daily Inspiration!
- Bug fix: PM was showing in the Feed
- Browse Update: Browse Following is present on the Front page and on the Feed page
- Contest Feature: Contests Module added to the sidebar.
- Feature News: We now feature 15 DFs Daily rotating in the front page.Most Popular now rotates as well so that all most popular works are featured throughout the day!
- Small Addition: You can use CSS to turn of specific Stats on your page. IE: .statFollowers {display: none;}

Here is what Shadowness Members have helped us achieve:

- We're now receiving 60,000+ pageviews a day, steadily. That's a solid 2 MILLION pageviews monthly.
- On Facebook, we've reached 3,350 fans!
- Our daily output of articles is now 3-4 features per day, each article being viewed 400+ times!
- The Daily Inspiration/Daily Feature article is veiwed more than 4000 times and shared by over 1,000 people each week!
- Shadowness members are subscribing at a rate of 1-5 per day now! We're so happy that you're happy with the features and the site!
