Introduction: About ChallengeFuture

Challenge:Future is a global youth think tank creating a community of talent and ideas for the world that works for all. Through future thinking and collaboration, we inspire tomorrow’s talent and connect them with today’s opportunities via:



1. The annual web-based Challenge:Future Competition – a leading global web-based innovation contest built on ideas of radical inclusiveness, open collaboration, and embedded sustainability.

2. The annual Challenge:Future Summit connecting the most innovative youth, pioneering businesses, policy leaders and other change makers in dialogue, reflection, and action. The Summit serves as the final stage of the competition featuring student presentations and judging of solutions, with the best teams and schools recognized at the Gala Awards Ceremony.

3. The annual publication of The Future Book, an inspiring and practical collection of provocative expert ideas and intuitive youth foresight designed to foster new visions of the future.



Our mission is to actively engage global youth and accelerate ideas, talent, leadership and innovation for a better, sustainable future.

And now, we’re getting close to our Second CF Summit and we would like to invite the Shadowness Community to take part on our T-shirt Design competition!

THE CHALLENGE

Prepare your design (drawing, digital, any wacky idea you have) and upload it here. We’re looking for something appealing, fun, attractive to broader C:F audience and to people just like you: young, creative and innovative individuals. You can participate even if you are not the best of a graphic designer or if you lack illustration and drawing skills. Ideas are all what matters. If you have a really amazing idea, our designers can help you make it reality. Fair?

ELIGIBILITY

All C:F members between ages 18 and 30 can participate in the challenge. The winner(s) will be required to provide proof about their age in order to be eligible for the awards. No student status is required. (Not a CF Member? Join us here: ChallengeFuture.org

TIMELINE

- Submissions: June 10, 5PM - September 8th, 5PM (CEST)
- Community voting: July 4th, 5PM – September 8th, 5PM (CEST)

EVALUATION CRITERIA

1. C:F community will vote for your design with “thumbs up” from July 4th – August 2nd and will be able to post comments.

2. Expert design judges will select the winner among the top 5 ideas with most votes and top 5 ideas chosen by youth judges.

The Expert design Judges will be particularly looking for the following:

a) How appealing and attractive is it? Does it catches your attention? Is it appealing enough that people would be proud to wear it?

b) Creativity and originality – Is it an original idea? Is it creative, inspiring and has the “How cool is that?” effect?

c) Does it show C:F values? Is it something that youth would wear? Is it linked to innovation and sustainability?

OTHER RULES

• It has to be your ORIGINAL work, as well as the idea. Nothing stolen from the internet, meaning both visuals, word phrases and ideas. Use your own imagination and let it go wild.
• Please limit yourself to designing the T-shirt graphic, not the T-shirt itself. Though if you have some uber cool ideas please do share them, even if they involve some special T-shirt modulations.
• The T-shirt should also incorporate/communicate the Challenge: Future idea and the C:F logo

REWARDS

• Eternal fame and glory for the winner + the name appearing on the final design + 5 T-shirts to share with friends.
• Top 3 by Judges and the First by number of votes will each receive a hard copy of The Future Book + 1 new C:F T-Shirt.
