I'd like to keep this topic active for everyone to report bugs / usability / loading issues.

On a side note, I fixed the biggest loading problem that has plagued us since the Shadowness 8 launch. It was a mod-rewrite script that replaces "images not found" by a default avatar. This single bug was the reason why our sweet launch was interrupted for 20 mins, and for the site for NOT loading for minutes, or even close to an hour almost every day since.

There will be new skins, new customization features and improvements in the stability. I'd like to ask everyone to stay patient as I roll out many of the features we loved from the previous versions. Of course, you are free to request by participating. That is the best way to restore the community to its former glory and seek expansion for the site to find success.

  • richholt On the home feed, could be seen a little confusing where it's showing a snippet of a forum post and doesnt say "read more" or the like at the bottom.

    The last forum topic I made, only 1 of the 4 links turned into a link.

    And would be cool to be able to reply to peoples status' under their own status. Makes more sense to other people reading rather than replying on each others profiles.

    Aaaand cant wait for a notification counter :P :D

  • Martin I might come out dumb but where do you view peoples uploaded pictures? all i see now is the top posts on the frontpage. If there is one other place to view like.. latest uploads of popular or whatever shouldnt it be a bit more easy to find?

  • Martin Ok maybe this is something then.. I'm trying to upload an image but efter i've chosen the picture.. it just gets stuck on loading and i've left it like that for 30 minutes now.. no change. So basically it ain't working, atleast not for me anyhow

  • 7Shadows Yes, the image upload process is when you choose the picture file, before you submit. If it doesn't upload, maybe try again. Usually it will tell you an error if there is one.
